Terms and conditions
Version 1.0, valid from 16.10.2026
1. Scope
1.1 These terms apply to all offers, orders, sales and deliveries of AVF Sàrl, trading as Corsalis ("Corsalis"), to its customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, whether placed by email, telephone, order form or online shop.
1.2 Corsalis sells exclusively to professionals. These terms do not apply to consumers, who cannot place orders.
1.3 Leasing, rent-to-buy, free loan against minimum consumption, training and maintenance are governed by separate contracts; these terms apply in addition where those contracts are silent.
1.4 The customer's own terms do not apply unless Corsalis accepts them in writing.
2. Who may buy
2.1 Lasers and sterile optical fibres are sold only to physicians registered in the Swiss medical professions register (MedReg) and to healthcare institutions under the responsibility of such a physician.
2.2 Accessories may also be sold to other healthcare and aesthetic professionals.
2.3 Corsalis may request proof of professional status (MedReg or GLN number, licence to practise) before accepting an order and may refuse an order if proof is not provided.
2.4 The customer confirms that the devices will be used only by trained, qualified professionals, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for use and the intended purpose stated by the manufacturer.
3. Offers and conclusion of contract
3.1 Offers, catalogues and online prices are not binding.
3.2 A contract is concluded when Corsalis confirms the order in writing (including by email) or issues the invoice.
3.3 Corsalis may correct obvious errors in prices or descriptions.
4. Prices
4.1 Prices are in Swiss francs, excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise. VAT is added at the applicable rate.
4.2 Shipping and handling fees are charged according to the price list in force at the time of the order and shown on the confirmation.
4.3 Discounts are stated on the invoice. Under art. 56 of the Therapeutic Products Act, the customer must pass on or declare any discount on therapeutic products as required by law; Corsalis provides the necessary documentation on request.
5. Payment
5.1 Invoices are payable within ten days of the invoice date, without deduction, to the account stated on the invoice, quoting the invoice number or payment reference.
5.2 Corsalis may require advance payment, in particular for first orders and for lasers. Goods held in stock are shipped once payment has been received.
5.3 If payment is late, the customer is in default without further notice. Corsalis may charge reminder fees of CHF 50 for the first reminder, CHF 100 for the second, CHF 150 for the third and CHF 200 for the final reminder, plus default interest of 5 percent per year, and may initiate debt collection after 60 days.
5.4 Set-off against claims of Corsalis is only permitted with claims that are undisputed or established by a final judgment.
6. Delivery and transfer of risk
6.1 Delivery times are indicative. Lasers and accessories are often delivered directly from the manufacturer in Italy; Corsalis handles import and customs clearance.
6.2 Risk passes to the customer when the goods are handed over at the delivery address.
6.3 Delays caused by the manufacturer, carriers, customs or force majeure do not entitle the customer to damages. If a delay exceeds 60 days, either party may withdraw from the affected part of the order.
7. Retention of title
7.1 Goods remain the property of Corsalis until paid in full. The customer authorises Corsalis to register the retention of title in the competent register.
8. Inspection and notice of defects
8.1 The customer must inspect the goods on receipt and give written notice of any visible defect or transport damage within eight days, and of hidden defects within eight days of discovery.
8.2 Without timely notice, the goods are deemed accepted (art. 201 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).
9. Warranty
9.1 The warranty corresponds to the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the offer or in the product documentation. For lasers it is 12 months from delivery, unless agreed otherwise.
9.2 Corsalis may, at its choice, repair or replace defective goods, through the manufacturer's service where necessary. Further warranty rights are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9.3 The warranty does not cover wear parts, misuse, use contrary to the instructions for use, unauthorised repairs, or use with non-original consumables.
9.4 Sterile single-use fibres cannot be returned once delivered, except for a defect notified under section 8; a defective fibre must be kept for the manufacturer's assessment.
10. Medical device obligations
10.1 The customer keeps a record of the serial numbers and lot numbers of devices and consumables received, and informs Corsalis without delay of any serious incident, malfunction or complaint. Corsalis forwards it to the manufacturer and, where required, to Swissmedic.
10.2 The customer ensures maintenance of the devices as required by the manufacturer and the Medical Devices Ordinance.
10.3 The customer supports Corsalis in any field safety corrective action or recall, in particular by giving access to the devices concerned.
10.4 The customer refrains from advertising to the public that does not comply with the rules applicable to medical devices for professional use.
11. Liability
11.1 Corsalis is liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence, indirect damage, consequential damage and loss of profit is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
11.2 Mandatory liability under the Swiss Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
11.3 Corsalis is not liable for the medical indication, the treatment performed or its result, which remain the sole responsibility of the treating professional.
12. Data protection
Corsalis processes personal data as described in its privacy policy, available at corsalis.ch.
13. Final provisions
13.1 Corsalis may amend these terms; the version in force on the date of the order applies.
13.2 If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
13.3 These terms and all contracts with Corsalis are governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
13.4 Place of jurisdiction is the registered office of AVF Sàrl, in Lutry (Vaud). Corsalis may also sue the customer at its registered office.
13.5 In case of discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
